Jersey Boys is “just too good to be true”

For the past six months I’ve been dying to see Jersey Boys, the award-winning Broadway hit about Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. Having been raised on oldies like Elvis, Roy Orbison and Frankie Valli,  I was pumped to catch the musical everyone has been talking about.  I won’t give too much away but this is the real thing with Frankie Valli and Bob Gaudio, two original members of the 4 Seasons, green-lighting the production.  It tells the real story including interesting tidbits – like the fact that “You’re Just Too Good to be True” almost never got released.  The show runs the gamut of emotions – humor, drama, raw emotion and of course, stellar music to pull it all together in the end.  Going to the theater is meant to be an experience and there’s nothing worse than being let down.  Jersey Boys  is one of those magnificent, rare occasions where the ticket price feels like a steal and you leave the theater singing and dancing.
